A Little Ray of Sunshine: Hope after Miscarriage and Pregnancy LossPregnancy can be pure bliss and excitement for many women. When a pregnancy ends in miscarriage, the innocence and joy of conceiving turns to anxiety, worry and fear. When my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, I felt lost. I was told that miscarriage is very common and to keep trying. It did not feel common to me. At the time, I did not know anyone close to me who had suffered a miscarriage. I was heartbroken and afraid of what this meant for my dreams of having children.I spent hours researching articles and forums trying to find answers and gain knowledge of my miscarriage and my fertility concerns. There were so many honest stories of families struggling with similar issues which offered me great comfort. While the stories of loss helped me feel less alone, I needed to know that it was possible to push through the hurt and pain and find joy in the end. I have some specific fertility concerns, so I would search and search for women like me who ended up having healthy children. The positive stories were more difficult to come by.Over the years, I have connected with many women struggling with infertility or pregnancy loss. It has been a blessing to be a part of their lives as they also became parents. I know how difficult it is to stay hopeful and positive when you are grieving the loss of your angel baby or babies. You are not alone. The purpose of our website is to provide an opportunity for you to find strength through the Hope Community and the positive stories shared by others. Sending support to you,Michelle
